Best Hose Clamps

I just finished watching a YouTube video testing a wide variety of hose clamps for highest pressure before leaking. Here is the winner according to the video: Amazon.com : norma hose clamp

I can't help wondering if some of the others might do better with larger radiator sized hose. The heater hose size is a tough job.

I have not taken the time to watching the video yet so don't know if it address this.  In looking at the clamps in the link I would be concerned that this type of hose clamp would have the teeth dig into the hose.  I have used some hose clamps in the past that when really cranking down they chew up the hose.

The gear on the Norma clamp does not touch the hose. Check the video at 6:28.

Yup, particularly for large diameter hoses, the constant torque clamps are far better.

The can accommodate the expansion/contraction with changing temperatures.

And, double clamp if you have enough hose over the metal so the second clamp is completely supported by the metal. Screws located 180 degrees from each other.  This is basic marine below-waterline technique.

I've been watching "Project Farm" videos for a long time. Todd does a great job in testing. Yes, he does talk fast but he packs a lot of information into a video. Subscribers at 2.7 million...fantastic..
