Kitchen Faucet

Sounds easy, and it is not hard .  The newer faucets have shorter connection fittings tho . The connector may bottom on the retainer nut and not seal.    So the fix is to flip over the retainer nuts, exposing a longer shaft for the inlets nuts.
  Also , try to avoid stopping midway through the job , to use the toilet.

 When I got done. The shine made me clean the stove, polish the bath fixtures, , clean all of the mirrors, wax the floor.

 I hate drips ..  So I also swapped the bathroom faucet to a single handle MOEN.
  The OE faucet uses a old style .( kitchen) style of inlets. the inlet is also the retainer stud .  The fitting are very close to the back of the sink and hard to get at.  The offset plumbers pipe wrench  would help .
  Be sure to have new supply line gaskets. 
    My hot water is very hot . Having a 2 handle faucet requires turning both to get a warm flow.  Lazy  me wanted a single touch flow that  works.    At the races, I like to make as little of a mess as possible  without slinging my hands all over .  Now it works well .
  FWIW the OE fixture is almost all brass.  very nice but the seals leaked a tiny bit onto the backsplash .
 
 This time I avoided using the toilet  and flooding the bathroom .
  20 min job=  about 3 hrs.
