Replacement remote and wet bay latch adjustment?

I need some help

1.  I realize it's a long shot but was wondering if anyone had a spare remote for a Blaupunkt Chicago IVDM-7022.  Evidently the only way to "tilt" the display once it's out is with the remote.

2.  Wet bay door opened twice on our 1400 mile journey home.  Appears the top latches aren't staying secured. Happens on really rough patches of road.  Any advice?

I thought I remember there being a way to get to a setup menu without having the remote. And somewhere in the setup menus is a monitor tilt adjustment. We replaced a Blaupunkt head unit, I'll dig through my box of removed stuff to see if its the same unit. I don't recall having had a remote.

Can't help with the remote, but the latches need to be individually latched before you leave. Both corners on flip up doors and all four corners on bus type vertical opening doors. Clean and lube the latch mechanism. Make sure the cable is a little loose when manually closed. Verify that the lock paw is fully engaging and lube again. Mine initially were coming loose but after I got the hang of closing them seem to have resolved themself and stay latched.

You may need to learn how to do the "Foretravel bump" on the doors. Once its closed and seemingly latched , you need to give it an extra bump with your hip/legs on each side to make sure it's latched all the way.

Yes, Scott at MOT showed me, I guess I didn't realize I need to press the upper corners also.

I've been dealing with these stores for a couple years now opening at random times going down the highway. Has Scott says make sure everything's lining up correctly as you're closing it. Don't slam them. Make sure everything's lubed with a good quality lube. Make sure the cable adjustments are correct not too tight not too loose. Check every shoulder bolt and nut make sure they're all tight. Don't try to tighten them with a wrench just after alined properly should do it. If you do put a wrench to them and they're old make sure you put a penetrating oil on first and leave it for a while. Those shoulder bolts break fairly easily.
And sometimes things are just out of alignment just a little bit and a little adjustment here and there will do it. I don't have a good eye for it but Scott does so you can always drive over to his place in Nevada to get your doors adjusted.
