1995 U280 ac motor

Hey guys I'm needing to replace the fan motor in my duotherm and having a hard time finding a replacement. Seems they don't make that part number anymore and I really hate to get rid of the whole unit over just a blower motor.
The unit is a: 600315.321
part number is 991720671
The motor is a:k55hxcrc-6598
part number is  3105417.004
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Friend just told me he took the roof AC fan motor out and took it to a Granger store where they used motor plate numbers to cross motor to a Granger part number for a replacement motor.

Hope you can be just as successful.

I did the same at a Johnstone supply and bought a spare.
Where are you located?

This is all fantastic information. I'll snatch that thing off tomorrow and head to grainger Monday. I'm located in Strawberry Plains, TN. Just east of Knoxville. Thank y'all so much.
