LR slide doesn't extend straight

The LR extends at an angle severely enough that I stopped. I brought it back in and tried again and it was the same.
I looked in the compartment below and there was significant hydraulic fluid on the floor. The synchronizing cylinder is leaking. It is the older configuration with he extended pin at the end. I called FT and they agree it is bad and are sending a new upgraded cylinder and mounting bracket.
I removed the pleated curtain to see the mechanism and there are a couple of stripped bolts/holes and the armor covered cable that takes power to the room outlets is damaged and appears to have been pinched or damaged in some other way. Of course it was the drivers end of the room that was not moving in as quickly as the bath end...
The question is did the cable get snagged to prevent the room to extend and cause the seal in the cylinder to fail or are they two unrelated issues?
Is the routing of the cable from the fixed wall up through the slide arm over the center joint then back down to the front corner of the room floor correct? I assume there is enough slack to allow free movement but the bolt at the front bottom corner is completely stripped out...
Thoughts?
