Valance removal

I have a 2001 U320 with original interior
When PO installed MCD shades, they had to remove the existing valances.
I have located one screw that enters the upright from below the the sill, and one I can feel near the top of the vertical near the shade roller
There are screws from inside the vertical that seem to hold the wrapped fabric
Am I missing something??
Has anyone with a similar setup removed the valance?
Please let me know
Thanks

If you pull the fancy fabric off the top of the valance, I'm pretty sure you'll see more screws.
That material is held on with Velcro.

Ok on my 99 the horizontal valance is held on by 4 screws on the inside front edge of the valance screwed into the bottom on the cabinets they are #2 Robert's " square head" screws and you will need a 6-8" driver extension to get at them. Once you get that one off you should be able to see the side attachments.

Mine also is this way, the side pieces have a small L bracket to the side wall. The extension was essential to get at mine.
At least one of my side pieces is also screwed directly to the top valance, though I suspect this is not original.
