Please Identify this Control

I would like to get more details regarding this control on our 1995 U320 Cummins M11 engine. I believe it's the wax valve for the hydraulic fan control but I'm unable to read the label on it. I think it's performing properly but I'd like to identify it for future reference.

Word is that they almost never fail.  I suspected mine was bad (previous coach), and Source Engineering refused to sell me one until I removed it and bench tested it based on their instructions.  It was good.
