Aux Pump Poly Bowl Replacement

I'm trying to replace the poly bowl and valve on my Aux Air Pump but it seems to be on very tight.  Is it under pressure that needs to be released prior to removing?

It should not be under pressure, unless the check valve is bad and the air release is not working.

I'm trying to recall... I think it might be a bayonet-type mount, so you might try gently pressing up while turning.

Michelle is right, look for a black lever on the metal cover. It will either slide down or if you push on it, will release then you can turn the cover to remove it

Thanks, I'll take a look tomorrow.  I don't recall seeing a lever on mine or in any photos that others have posted.
