Re hydraulic power head

Well, after weeks and weeks of searching for my  obsolete power head, I managed to get a reply from fleet products, and they managed to get hold of a good casting and get it Remanufactured for me,  it's in the process of being shipped, many thanks to norm ( night owl), for taking the time to search for this part for me, and also craneman and red tractor and anyone else that tried to help, so while I'm waiting for the part to arrive, I been busy trying to make it look nice, few photos

You will lose a lot of automatic transmission fluid (it drives the powerhead thru the power steering pump) so have plenty on hand. If you don't use all of it you can always return what is not used, altho I would keep about two quarts for a few weeks, just in case. After a trip of 58 miles my fluid level was down almost two quarts.
The reservoir in the engine compartment easily can hold a few quarts, unless you can block the flow to the powerhead.
DO NOT start the engine with the lines disconnected or the master cylinder off!!!!!!!!!! The push rod on the back of the powerhead will shoot off and tranny fluid will shoot out. Do not ask how I know. >:(  :P
