Grand Villa ORED Freshwater Tank Removal

1987 Grand Villa ORED (not mine) Anyone ever remove the freshwater tank under the dash that can give instructions?  Thanks!

I have. There are a few screws that hold the carpeted cover over the tank. They are #2 square drive if I remember correctly. Lift the access door to the fill and drain valves and remove the wood piece that is across the space. Should be 2 screws on each side. I don't remember if there are screws that are at an angle holding it to the front panel. Go slow and check for screws concealed by the carpet b

Right.
The tank wants to fall through the floor and crush a wire loom. I removed and repaired the tank with plastic weld. Cut out the fiberglass  floor , Then added a plywood floor directly on the frame rails .  Supported by some square tubing .

I had to do the same thing on our 84 ORED, as it was falling through the floor.
