RE Aqua hot

my aqua hot acts up when the wheather turns cold.
i did change the control box,had a service done and is still doing it.
It started acting up beginning of the year and we scheduled a routine maintenance and i changed the controller which was refurbished.
I also been talking to Art and he walked me trough some steps.
The Acting. it just shuts down  sometimes before it fires during the vent process, sometimes during the heating cycle. i just heard it the other day when it was warmer  and it fired and cycled properly and now it cold and it turned off. when i turn it on it will fire and do a complete cycle but then it will not refire and it will shut off.
its clear that there is something going on when its colder has anyone had similar issues and what was the remedy.

Dismount the burner, disconnect the two wire to the flame sensor, clean the sensor (should have white back ground), perform the Ohms test for the sensor.

In a bright light (flashlight), the reading should be less than 200 ohms.  In the dark, the reading should be more than 600,000 ohms, 600k ohms.  OL, open line would be the best dark reading.

A dark reading of less than 600k ohms will result in your symptoms.  Art can assist you if you need help.  He knows Aqua Hot very well.  We talk weekly, several times a week.  Yesterday for example.

All the best.
