Looking for steering column electrial diagram A4304

Hey all it's been a while since I've posted anything on a regular basis. Dori & I have been care-taking my dad for most of the last 4 years. Dad started home hospice in Sept and passed away early Oct. We've been working to get the house in order for an estate sale and then get it on the market early next year. We plan to hit the road full time again mid January so you'll probably have more of me than you can stand a little bit after that.

Now to coach business. Many of you may remember my complaining about play in my steering. According to the laws of motorhome repair "It's always the last thing you try that fixes the issue". In my case it was the u-joint in the steering column used for the tilt wheel function. It's a long, long story and will be discussed at length with pictures and diagrams in a follow up post.

So to my current issue... To replace the tilt u-joint you have to pull the steering column. Came out fairly easy. There are 2 5pin electrical connectors that are arranged so that they can only go back together one way so no worries about plugging them back in. The lower plastic cover was tight and required some force to push off over the connectors. The connectors are quick connect with the wire terminated to spade with a small spring built in holding them in place. (see photo) In the process of removing the plastic cover I manged to pull all 5 wires out of the connector :( and since I had already determined that I couldn't switch the connectors on reinstall I didn't document where each of the wires went in the connector.  >:(  >:(  >:(

It should be easy to match the wire color on the dash side of the connector with the wire color on the steering wheel side of the connector but nope I have white, black/yellow, green/black, & green on the dash side and green, orange, black/yellow, red/yellow, & blue/white on the steering side. Pulled out my B2035 electric diagram and found the steering column plugs but it only documents the dash side with a note to "SEE DWG A4304" for the steering wheel side. Go through my collection of diagrams and no A4304 to be found.

I have mostly figured out what goes where by tracing out the wiring except the headlights don't light (dash does light up) & the right rear turn signal doesn't work (front right turn signal works). So if anyone has the steering column diagram for an early model Grand Villa PM me or attach it in a reply.

Hope to see you all down the road.

See ya

Hey @TGordon (aka Tim) I owe you a beer or 2. All my lights are working properly! Turns out all I needed to do was put the wires in the right holes.  8) A4304 was exactly what I needed.
