ORED wheel lug torque specs

Can anyone tell me what I need to torque my wheel lug nuts to? I'm having a heck of a time finding the specs in my owners binder

I torque mine to 260# with oiled threads. manual says 250# oiled 500# dry.

Be careful here.

The specs for the ORED may be entirely different than newer coaches.

Well I checked every page in the Oshkosh binder and this is the best I could find. Located in the front axle/suspension section. I need to measuure the studs but that 400-500 range aligns with prior suggestions

I also lube the threads, then torque to 300#.

Be aware, lubing studs with anything substantially reduces the torque needed.

Said another way, lug nut torque specs are for DRY.

I don't use anything and if I was to use something it would be neverseize.

Anyone have any tips for getting the lug nut caps back on without denting them? A good number of them are already dented from the previous owners, but I'd like to keep the few good ones I have intact

I use these to remove and install the 1 1/2" lug nut covers.

For what it is worth, here are scans of two pages from my July 1988 Alcoa Forged Aluminum Truck Wheel Service Manual and Operating Instructions that were in one of my three ring binders when we bought our coach.
Hope it affirms opinions re torqueing here.
