Oil Pressure (Code 100) Low Voltage

I suspect I have a faulty oil pressure sensor unit.

Upon turning the key to the on position, the dash check engine light illuminates, and the code appears on the VMSpc. This occurs before further turning the key to start the engine. Once the engine is started, both the dash oil pressure gauge and the VMSpc indicate good/normal oil pressure.

I am encountering difficulties logging into Cummins Quick Serve. As a result, I consulted the engine manual. According to the manual, the diagram identifies #11 (see attached picture) as the oil pressure sensor location. However, upon inspecting the engine bay from above and below, I notice two sensors positioned vertically and somewhat close to the location indicated in the manual, but not precisely.

Please refer to the attached pictures and inform me if you are aware of whether Location #1 or Location #2 is the oil pressure sensor.

The code low voltage may be a wiring problem. I would pull on all the wires that have connections
as see if there is a bad wire going onto a connection or a bad connection.

Al,

#1 should be your oil pressure sender
#2 IIRC is your 120 V block heater. Can you follow the wire back to the plug in the engine compartment to be sure?

Resolved:
It turned out to be my engine batteries. I thought I was taking care of them, but apparently the charger went bad. I did order a new oil pressure sender, and while waiting for that, I got sidetracked. Today, I took a moment to check a few things, and I found the issue with the batteries. After dealing with that, the low voltage code and check engine light are no longer present.
