Entry Step
I just returned from a trip and going into the trip my water pump was not priming. then the entry step was not coming out at all.Then my water pump starts working properly .The entry step starts working again.Then i get home and the entry step does not want to open(water pump works fine).
where should i start.In the past i would gently tap on the magnetic switch and magic would happen now not even tapping works.
i checked the breaker in the bay and the reset button has a bit of a play could that be the problem?
I got into it and its a bit confusing.
i tested the controller and the motor per Lippert's chart and everything works fine.
they talk about an inline 6 volt fuse I DONT SEE ONE.
the chasis side only has 3 wires
1. i got 12 volt when the ignition is turned on
2. i got 12 volt on the red supply line
3. no reading on the 3rd wire with the door looked or open or ignition on or off..
Any input
the green wire that is next to the red wire chassis side is clipped short (the ground is taken from the step frame)
Questions>
is there a 6 volt inline fuse? if yes where it is located?
how do i test the door switch?
