Starter Replacement Power Tech PTSMH-10FTRR

My 1995 U320 has the Power Tech 10kW generator. The starter has been intermittent and now will click but not spin. Has anyone replaced the starter on their generator? It looks as if the starter is on the back side and will require removal of the generator. Definitely looking for experienced advice. Thanks!

David,  Raise and block the coach.  Pull gen out as far as it will go.  Slide under and get the material under the gen out of the way.  The starter will be right there on the back side.

You may be able to access from the rear by removing the rear wall of the compartment.  You would not have to pull the gen out that way.

My 95 U320 gen starter was replaced without having to remove from the coach;

There is a metal frame with rubber mat material on it underneath the generator held on by 4  1/2 inch head bolts. Remove the bolts and drop that assembly. Slide the generator out and you can get right to the starter.
