Sap Removal

I recently bought a 2002 3620, and I parked it in the only spot I could which is in my driveway. It happens to be under a 100 foot tall Douglas Fie. The top of my coach is now covered with sap droplets. I'd like to remove them and then put a cover over the coach. Are there any suggestions on the best way to remove the sap without harming the top?

I asked Google what was the best cleanser for pine sap was and it said....
"Dish Soap and Water
Warm, soapy water is the simplest way to remove fresh sap. Mix a mild dish soap in a bucket of warm water. Using a fine-bristle brush or sponge, gently scrub the area. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove the sap and soap residue."

I would think a mop would be handy.

I used Bar Keeper's Friend powdered cleanser to clean our roof after we parked several days under Oak trees during a rainy period.  Water mixed with tree droppings to stain our roof, but it came right off with minimal effort.

Don't know about Pine Tree sap...but it's worth a try.

Many Foretravel coaches have unpainted roofs, with no coatings over only original gelcoat. Some have painted roofs over gelcoat with 2-part paint that includes clear-coat.

I second the recommendation for WD40 along with a plastic razor scraper to remove the large globs.  Then wash with Barkeepers Friend and a green scrub pad.  Rinse well.  It's a lot of work.

And another option,  Denatured Alcohol (any big box store) and a microfiber cloth usually takes sap right off.  I think all of the options given work, pick one that suits the way you work.

When done, thoroughly wash the roof and the entire coach to remove the remover.
