2 year old Foretravel with low miles. Extended warranty worth it or not ?

I am not a believer in them.

But

A friend when he bought a new 2019 Entregra Cornerstone he got a 5 year extended warranty for $10,000.  He is now out or just about out of warranty.  Over the years he has eaten up the 10k with all of the things that broke.

You still have 3 years warranty on the engine.

My coach is now 10 years old  and have spent around 30,000 on repairs.  4K was batteries after Cummins Houston let it sit  without being plugged in and that ended up finishing off the batteries.

Not a fan either.

However, given that vehicles today have so much electronics, it may make $en$e to get one. Is the drivetrain included? As mentioned above, how much is left on the warranty and what's included in that? Then price out a slide repair(besides motor, I'm not sure what all is involved to operate), emission bits and maybe some other things that are prone to fail and see where you're at. Ask yourself if you can handle a 5,10,15k service bill.

The other thing is if you do decide to get one, make sure it's with a company that will actually pay it or have a decent network without you having to spend hours and hours sending in receipts and being on the phone.

ALL extended warranty contracts are designed to discourage use. Breakdown and learn you cannot fix anything until they take their time to approve. Will not allow anything without pre-approval and reject anything the can. Figure aggravation with any claim. Consider a towing contract. Do Foretravel coaches still have a 3-yr factory warranty. Most would answer the question "never worth it".
