How to safely access the dash

Can anyone enlighten me on the procedure to open up the from dash on my 2002 U320? I need to access the rear of the radio and the backup camera screen.. There is always a secret to removing these without damage these and I have not been able to find it...

The back of the instrument cluster is just press fit in a simple overlap/stepped seam. It can be removed by pushing / twisting the plastic cover. You can do it by hand or using a plastic trim removal tool to lift it up on the back. Once you have done it once it becomes super easy.
