1984 Foretravel furnace

GoodAfterrnoon,

A question for all who may know, My 1984 Foretravel has two furnaces, one in front one in the rear.  The front one works great, always lights, and throws seriously hot air. However the backone  lights hrd, sometimes not lighting, and when does, throws luke warm air, rather than the hot air like the front. I would assume that part of it should be cleaned and that it what needs, but not sure. Cant find any diagrams or such that would give cleaning instructions, or if that is even the problem. Thank you in advance for your help, you guys are the coolest.            Stay warm:        Quickmagic

Not sure what brand furnace was found in the early 80's model coaches.  Our '93 came with two Atwood models.

Open the exterior access panel for the furnace, locate the model number.  Search the model number online for a service manual.

If you have a Atwood furnace you might find your model number in the document linked below.  It has good parts and service info.

If you are in California, I have two heaters out of our '93 that I removed and are free to anyone who can make use of them. I installed a couple of diesel heaters so don't need them. They are not worth shipping.

Pierce, how are those diesel heaters working for you. Do you use the provided tank or feed from the coach tank. Do you have a link for some details.

Pierce,
I was wondering how that diesel heater swap was going.  I can't wait for the pics and description...
