Slide out room hydraulic pump replacement

The Hydraulic pump motor for the slide out rooms is letting me know it needs some service or replacement. Brushes worn or sticking. Sometimes needs a mallet tap to make it go.

I know the motor can be rebuilt or at least replaced. Giving thought to replacing the complete pump and tank assembly. Has anyone ever replaced with a standardized "off the shelf" hydraulic power pack? Complete pump and tank assembly? If so what pressure, flow rate is required? Can't resist the urge for every repair opportunity to include an upgrade.

I would contact HWH.  Their service rates are very reasonable.  Both sending parts in and for service at their shop.

I have reached out to HWH and FOT for options on getting a pump motor, rebuild parts, or complete pump/motor assembly.
I could also take the motor out and see what it needs and send it to a motor shop if the armature or coils need work beside replacing the brushes. Just looking for alternatives and most time and cost-effective option.

When I was looking to see what I new motor cost, it was around $350.

Air pump upgrade next wish list type project.
Thinking simplified 120 volt add on so the 12 volt only needs to be used when boondocking. My coach is stored outside so the compressed air is on to maintain the slide room seals.

I still have not received pricing or motor replacement options from HWH or FOT. Guessing not a common failure part.

You can go to Hwh web site and in their store they have all their pricing.  Part # may be the problem though.
