Generator Front Cover

We are considering at the purchase of a 1999 Foretravel U320 4000 CAI. While inspecting, we found that the generator does not have a front cover. Does anyone know if that is normal for that year?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

On the '99 the generator engine is open in the compartment there is no cover. Other than sound it is much better than the '2000's and up that are enclosed. Water pump belt is adjustable and components are easier to change.

Do you have the front fiberglass cover that hides the generator area.

If you mean the very front of the motorhome under the windshield, yes. In other words, you have to pull a cable to lift that section see generator.
