Front roof a/c replacement '99 270

I just added 900 amps of lithium iron batteries. Now the front roof a/c has developed a leak. I wonder about options that are straight replacements and if I was smart enough..what options to up grade to a energy miser that would run on inverter / shore power. The present units are original Domestic maybe 15000 btu`s? My controller pad has 4 buttons. The Gree a/c units are interesting. Also there is some time issues with prices..!

A Dometic is the only thing that will work with a Dometic controller, but I'm not sure if you can buy the necessary circuit board to swap out in the roof unit to make it work with the old 4-button controllers.

You can remove the circuit board from th old unit and switch it with the new one's circuit board. Save the new one for if you ever want to upgrade the thermostat.
