Almost No Water Pressure in Kitchen Water Faucet

Can someone tell me if replacing the water faucet might help?  There is nothing clogging the aerator and the water lines seem to be clear.  We have killer water pressure in the bathroom.  This is on a 1996 U295.  We're taking a trip next week and I really don't wanna wash dishes in the bathroom sink.  ;D

Maybe check the manabloc valve. If I recall you can disassemble them to rebuild? Jim.

Thanks for the tip.  I'll mention it to the hubby.

With your coach being a '96 is the spigot a white single handle with a pull out head?  If so internal ball that directs hot/cold water either has calcium built up OR most likely the O ring has gotten crunched up blocking the flow on that port. There are rebuild kits but take it apart and check the valve out. Put back together with a good quality silicone grease.

That is the exact faucet.  I don't think the husband checked for that.  Thanks for the tip.  Might be just as easy to replace the faucet.

Replacing the faucet is not a big job and almost any kitchen faucet from your local big box store will work great.  On our 25 to 30 year old coaches it is probably time to replace.

Well my husband is a tinkerer and he gave up on repair after having the OEM spigot out twice for repair of problem similar to what you describe. The hardest part of the job of either repair or replacement was stuffing him up under the sink in the cabinet to get to the nut holding the spigot in place. I went with one close to what Jan and Richard posted in there pic.

If he wants to check the inside valve body and ball you can just remove the handle and take the captive nut off to get to the inside. The trick is to remove the little red/blue plug off the handle. Doing this will expose an Allen screw that will need to be removed before the handle will come off. Once off the retaining nut will be visible and once off the ball will just pull out. I had to remove the hole spigot to be able to soak the valve body in vinegar to remove the built-up calcium in the water gallies. Hope this is clear as mud.
