Cummins RV Service

Got an email from Cummins, posting without opinions just FYI. I find it interesting that Cummins is actively seeking RV business.
Don't miss 10% off fall RV service

Be interesting to see if the dealers are really interested in doing motorhome work (in a timely fashion). Called a Coach care shop with an injector pump issue back in 2015. It would be 3 weeks before they could look at it .

Not sure how extensive the "RV service" could be, but I had my ISM ecm updated 5 years ago at the Cummins Coach Care shop in Billings.  Appointment required but seamless and reasonably priced tech.  And if they keep the grease off the upholstery and carpets that's a good thing.

When I had my fuel pump replaced by Cummins a couple years ago, I had to wait about two weeks for an appointment, but that was because they were swamped with work. I was happy with the work though, and their labor rate was in line with other shops in the area. The one downside was that they would not work on anything that was not part of the Cummins system. I needed the drive shaft repaired because the tow driver damaged it and had to have the coach towed to a Freightliner shop (luckily just across the street) for that.

I had my transmission serviced at the Cummins dealer in Ventura Ca I rolled up and they told me they would be ready by the middle of the next morning. OK I can work with that, the next thing the service writer said was, we have 50 amp on 3 bays and 30 amp also. So I parked and plugged in, security in a fenced compound for the night.
