Roof AC condenser and evaporative coil cleaning

We've been in NorthTexas for a couple weeks and running our roof top AC a lot. It's been about four years since I cleaned them, so we were overdue. They weren't too bad but found a couple surprises.

Mold had formed on the inside of the plastic shrouds. Came off easy enough, glass cleaner, roll of paper towels, gloves, and then a bleach spray.

Found cracked gelcoat at ladder landing and by one of ACs. That had not been there six weeks ago. Getting ready to grind it back to see what will be required. That wasn't on my to do list. I have all my fiberglass supplies at our home base at the SKP Ranch in NM. It's not easy to find gelcoat and it takes Eight to ten days to order it in via Amazon.

Search around NTX for boating/marine supplies.  With the large lakes/reservoirs you might find a sticks n' bricks supplier.

Not to get off-topic, but West Marine in Lewisville shows some gelcoat repair items in store and in stock

I didn't have any indication of leaks but noticed some spider cracks on my roof the last time I cleaned off my solar panels. I used Berkland Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 UV Fast Cure. I scrubbed the areas with nail polish remover before applying it.

I will call West Marine. Started grinding it back. Wood seems solid but it was damp so drying out and getting supplies.
