Bath and she looks much nicer!

My U225 got a bath and got the roof waxed yesterday and today.  Looks so much better that she looks like a different coach.  Am going to have to order some 303 protectant.  Got the front cap all done with the 303.  Now on to the sides and rear cap.

Also took off the orginal owners numbers, but you can really see the shiney gel coat under them.  Don't know if I will ever get her back to that condition.  Tryed to put on the new front numbers, but mess them up in the wind.  A friend of my son does vinyl, so I am going to have some made up in blue to match the coach.  Leaving the old Motorcade Logo on both front and rear!

Since we just got our new to us U320 I've been reading everything Foretravel & on this forum there is a pic of a lovely older coach, might be a Grand Villa - the owners used Poliglow which is a boat surface restorer - here is the link
http://www.poliglow-int.com/ - they also have a Poli Ox will remove heavy oxidation -

There is another oxidation paste produce named "White Shark" or something like that - can get at marine supplies which are great for lots of things for our RV's - I've used this "? Shark" product on my Lazy Daze and it is very easy to work with.

I'm anxious to examine our U320 to see how much her surface needs polishing up - We get her next week from FOT

If you want the best for your FT, contact James at Xtreme Graphics, it is down the road from the factory, he will tell you the best way to clean your Gel Coat.

Thanks, but no thanks on the polyglow.  I had thought about it on my old coach, but checked reviews on some of the marine forums about it.  It is much like the one of the older acrylic floor waxes.  If you get to much on, it will crack and peel and if you don't get enough on it will also crack and peel.  And once you start you have to keep doing it every year.  I used 3M Marine Fiberglass Cleaner and Wax on the roof and am using 303 on the rest of it.
