Recently I had to replace headlight switch on U280.  I also had to replace parking brake valve.  Here are part numbers for both items.  They were direct fit replacements.

Headlight Switch:  GM D1588
Parking Brake Valve:  Bendix 289954N

Proper name according to the parts department, they just had a few made up for shelf stock if anyone needs one.

These are not IMO expensive and I would recommend replacement in sets.

I have not seen these in person and this is the extent of my knowledge about them. I only write this to allow someone else down the road an easy way to find them.

Here is the part number for the rubber "T" that is part of the ride height linkage that has been known to fail due to age. I just got a few from Truck Parts World | Quality Parts Since 1987

This is a mini relay 5 Terminal / SPDT Single Pole Double Throw (Switching) / 12V / Capacity 20/30 A (NC/NO) / Type B / Form C

Used to our 2000 U320 and other coaches,  located under the center dash panel, used to switch dash air zones

Changeover_relay.pngForm C is a Single Pole-Double Throw (SPDT) contact (also know as a changeover), which means that there is one common point connected to one normally open-end and another normally closed contact.

Type_A_and_type_B_relays.pngType B has pin 30 opposite pin 87, a Type A would have pin 86 opposite.

Potential Replacements:
  • Hella HL87401
  • Bosch 0 332 209 151 (5 Terminal / Single Pole Double Throw (Changeover) / 12V / 20/30 A (NC/NO) / Type B / Form C)

Parking brake Pressure switch

Originally manufactured by HOBBS manufacturing, is now only manufactured by Honeywell. Cannot be obtained at such places like NAPA as NAPA is not allowed to order honeywell items. Must be ordered online though whatever sources can be found. NAPA person did assist with cross reference information however. I was not able to find it under any Fleetpride provider. The switch comes in several pressure ratings, the OE was believed to be a 10psi due to numbers on it. the Honewell below is also 10 psi
