Okay, it's time to fess up.  Is maple syrup a code name for the smell of s**t?  I know that if the smell inside the coach was a super strong maple syrup, I would just go and make pancakes and enjoy the disturbance...

S A L T does not smell. So I guess you'd have to make pretzels.

Jeff, Maybe farfetched but in mine I have an intermittent anti freeze leak at the valve that controls the coolant thru the water heater.  It is a sickly sweet smell that I would not equate with maple syrup.  I have tightened the hose clamps, repacked the valve stem and just when I think I have it it comes back, its annoying but at least I know what it is.

I will try some of these ideas and see if anything works. Will let you know if I find something that works.
