Reply #26 – January 28, 2012, 09:43:40 am Dave K,I am laughing about the added power and the idea of fuel mileage, while it has to be better, the ability to just run free, easy and faster, the mpg just gets lost in the wonderful experience of power. While I now have about 5 K miles with the resonator change, I think I get about .3 mpg better, towing or not. Just a guess as the actual mpg is not one of my major concerns.I like the idea of the wrap. Thanks for the pix etc.Dave M Quote Selected

Looks like quite good stuff, about 1/8" thick. Easy to do - wet the roll of wrap well, then wrap tightly. Anchored it with several SS 4" radiator clamps. I wrapped the whole straight pipe after the 90 deg bend out to the tail pipe, and also did the curved section after the turbo down to the flex pipe. Haven't wrapped the clamps or the flex yet, since I want to tighten things after it has had a few heat cycles. Will eventually wrap the whole down pipe up to the resonator, and all the pipe after the resonator. Haven't decided about wrapping the resonator body yet. Quote Selected
