We got the Costco gel foam topper last month and put it on the air bed. The wife loves it. I spent 20 years sleeping on an 18" wide steel plate with a laughable foam mattress so I can sleep on anything.

All Foam toppers seem to retain body heat. We had tempupedic mattress for 30 days found it too hot but liked the way it supported entire body.

Costco foam topper holds heat as well, just not as bad, and that is what we settled on (Queen) about $130.00

Not all.  Check these out:  3" CoolRest Gel™ Memory Foam Topper | Memory Foam Toppers | BedInABox.
*"Three inches of CoolRest Gel™ GEL infused memory foam offers the same pressure relief as our CoolRest™ Memory Foam.
*CoolRest Gel™ foam allows for greater heat diffusion for cooler sleep."

We have a different brand memory foam mattress in the stick house that has the Cool Gel infused in the memory foam.  It is locally made.  Very little heat retention!!  Really like it as compared to our old memory foam mattress that did not have it.  The old one retained heat horribly!!
