Stoopid question, but can the external windshield cover be attached by reaching out the driver's and passenger's window for the top corner snaps and the center snap by climbing on the roof and reaching down? I've got a U300 which is pretty tall and I'd have to pull my ladder out of the cargo bay every time to snap the cover on.

@Scott On my cover I can reach the 2 upper snaps through the driver and passenger windows. The lower snaps I can reach from the ground. My cover does not have a snap center top only center bottom. It's stayed on in 80mph plus winds. A top center snap would be a PIA!

Don't forget, Ken is just a kid and can contort that skinny body ways that some of us can't. I vote for inside Sun Screen. See previous post.

Our '89 windshield cover we just got about a month ago has five (5) snaps along the top and three (3) snaps along the bottom. I get up on the bumper, put the safety belt I made around me and piton it onto the handle above the small access door. I then snap the top and bottom center snaps first, then the one over the middle of the pass side, move over to the driver's side, refasten my safety belt and then do the snap top center of the driver's side windshield. The top end snaps are reached out of the side windows. The bottom end snaps are done from the ground. If the wind is blowing and the top ends keep rolling out of my reach I hold them in place with my telescoping window squeegee while the DW reaches out the window and snaps the ends.

On my 95 GV I use a three step aluminum step ladder to reach the snaps above the WS and on the sides .  I then move to the front and use it to reach the snap at lower center of the WS.  I don't even try to reach the snap at the top of the WS.
