Re: Can't Stop!! Reply #26 – December 16, 2013, 10:04:13 am Problem solved!! And I'm an idiot. I scheduled an appointment at FT for today to have them lower the idle speed on the M11, since my Celect Plus has no under dash switches and the cruise functions don't affect idle speed as they do on some coaches. It took Cliff about 30 seconds to cure the problem. The carpeted panel behind the pedals had come loose from the Velcro on the support frame. It looked fine, but it was out enough that when the brake pedal was fully pressed, it bore against the panel. Quote Selected
Re: Can't Stop!! Reply #27 – December 16, 2013, 11:06:13 am D'oh! It's good news that you found and fixed the problem.Breaking news: Driver of 16 ton behemoth is free to roam highways in a vehicle with defective braking system! A design, installation, and maintenance issue could have wreaked havoc on our nation's highways! In a related story: Several attorneys have contacted Mr. Harrison to offer assistance on proving his case that the manufacturer should have installed warning signs of possible hazards. Many of the attorneys and news bureaus expressed disappointment that nothing really bad happened, so it was more challenging to create a big story. Quote Selected

Re: Can't Stop!! Reply #30 – December 16, 2013, 08:39:53 pm I never had a problem with my loose carpeted panel because a small case of organic black beans kept it in place nicely ;o)It also helped me identify a new storage area...best, paul Quote Selected
Re: Can't Stop!! Reply #31 – December 17, 2013, 09:39:42 am I had a similar problem with the carpeting, except with the accelerator pedal. I had been running an electrical line of some sort under the dash and when I was done, and took the coach for a spin, it would not accelerate like it did before. I pulled over and checked the pedal.... sure enough one of the carpeted panels behind the accelerator was ajar and was blocking it. Quote Selected
