Thanks everybody for getting back to me, looks like Jim & Sue will be seeing at least a couple more FT's at the show Saturday.  If anyone else will be around Saturday, shoot me a PM with your contact info & I'll make sure they get it via cell phone.
Hi MizDani,
Had a very nice time with Jim and Sue on Sat. and had the chance to answer many of their questions. They are really looking forward to going full time soon and are excited about learning as much as they can about a Foretravel. I have no doubt they soon will be proud owners of a well cared coach. Very nice couple.

Dave, we had a great visit at MOS with Gary and Sandy, Fred and Dawn, and Miz Dani.  We keep in touch with Gary O and have learned a lot. We want a U320, 99-03.  Your thoughts?
Hard to beat - 2001 models are my favorite with the upgraded dash but before end cap issues.

I agree with Dave.  The 2001 U320s seem to bubble up to the top of the features and quality lists.  We focused on '01 and '02 models because those were the last years for the 36' U320s with the newer dash style, the ducted AC in the roof and electronic engine and transmission.  They went to 38' in '03.  Ours has been very reliable.  We have had a few things fail for which there has been no replacement electronic parts (air pressure gauges for example) but work arounds are pretty easy and reliable.  The factory headlights on the '02 are probably better than the '01 but you are likely to change them anyway. End cap issues with the '02s can be a problem if they weren't fixed well.

We are sticking with our 2001.

My idea of the perfect FT , 38 foot, GV, 400+ horses,( mechanical Cummins, of course ), FB paint, Aquahot, 1 LR slide, air ride seat, what else could you want ? I am assuming all the NORMAL FT features, woodwork, genny's, retarders, Disc brakes, towing capacities, safes, air ride  etc.

We really appreciate Miz Dani introducing us to Ed and Sue. Jim and I enjoyed our visit in their beautiful coach, learning about their experiences and sharing things to consider as we search for our home on wheels. They were so gracious and we really appreciated their time and hospitality.
We were unable to connect with Bruce and Linda but appreciate their offer to meet in the future.
Since we are concentrating on FT, we compared every SOB we looked at to them and it made the quality of FT shine through.  Thanks to everyone for your input.  We welcome all the knowledge and experience of the forum members as we continue to learn and search.
