We've traveled about 700 miles with the new cup holder, so far it's working great.  Even under hard braking it did not move at all, and not a drop spilled.  Without it we would still be cleaning up apple juice.  So far it gets a  ^.^d

I don't know that I would go bigger than 32oz but this is a huge improvement!

Scuba, you asked what do we do to improve the cup holders.  Re: the passenger side, we first used the Roger method, photo 2, the size 13 shoe.  Jackie did not like that.

So I found that 3.5 inch OD sewer pipe, new, would fit just fine and if I cut it 1.5 inches high, it would give the stability needed.  She thought the plain white pipe could be better so we found some duct tape with a design.  Seems to be working out well, at least we hope so.  Simple way, looks ok and secure.
