Auxiliary Pump Relay or Pressure Switch?

When I activate the key switch for the slides the auxiliary pump doesn't come on.  But if I remove the cover from the pressure switch
at the pump and squeeze the contacts together the pump comes on, purges and shuts off immediately.  After that the key switches work fine, until the next time I want to move a slide in or out.

Anybody know if it's a relay or the pressure switch?

You can check that the power solenoid that is on the hydraulic pump is closing and passing power to the rest of the system. Ours would complete the circuit sometimes and not at other times. I finally caught it and then I took it off and took apart and cleaned the contacts. Sounds like when the compressor comes on maybe the vibrations cause the contacts to complete the circuit.

Traveling Man,

It almost sounds like mechanical of the pressure switch. Mine does the same thing occasionally, so I'm going to lubricate the friction points of the mechanism.
