We were unable to get the genny serviced on the road. Everyone was a week or a month behind. However when we got home I took it to a local tech immediately. There's no place like home! Later that day he called and said it was a bad regulator. A new one is $300. No word on the labor but I am guessing couple shop hours. It will turn out to be an expensive little trip: genny regulator, windshield wipers stopped returning to position, dash AC not working (apparently still leaking freon). Ahhhhh the joys of MH ownership. I used to think hotels were expensive. How foolish I was. OTOH the memories we are collecting with my 86 YO father and 88 YO uncle ain't measured in $.As always we are very appreciative of all those who offer up their time and experience to aid their fellow FTers. Thanks! Quote Selected 2 Likes
