Re: Roof A/C not running - replaced capacitors - what next? Reply #26 – October 20, 2018, 02:03:41 pm Well, I guess I fixed it. It is operating now - fan and compressor. I did not replace the Control Board. After I verified that 110vac was going to the board, I pulled all spade connections apart and and reconnected all. Just for the heck of it I went to the t-stat and energized the unit again after I turned OFF Zone ! and 2 heat. Is it possible that the t-stat can not operate one zone in Heat Mode and one in Cool Mode?Anyway, it is operational. Thanks to all for providing suggestions as to what I could try to diagnose and "fix" the non-functioning roof ac.In the next day or two I will hit all of those connections with some dielectric material.I will check the capacitors that I replaced to verify that they are NFG. If not I have a couple of spares. Quote Selected 1 Likes
