Richard,
I expect you found in your investigation that your start capacitor is on the back side of the fan motor.  You can only see it by sliding under the front compartment and looking up.

Thanks for the response.  At the time I moved the 120volt fan circuit breaker over to the side bay I did not think about a start capacitor for the motor.  Now that you mention it, I will (soon) look for it. 

Speaking of capacitors, I plan to climb up on the roof in the morning to replace the capacitors on the forward air conditioner which quit on me today,  Such are the trials of a 20 year old coach.

My 2 new AC units are coming in today by truck. Guess what I will be doing this weekend?
