Prosine Inverter

On my way to Egg Harbor Resort in Wisconsin and I found my inverter power is not coming into the coach.  Will have to check the second transfer switch and inverter to determine what is wrong.  Maybe it is time for a new inverter when we get to Florida.  We will try a hard reset at our next stop and see what that does.

The hard reset should be disconnecting from the battery for 20 min. completely, good luck.

I had this work many times for my customers, saving many a replacement.

John if you do go with a new inverter look at the victron multiplus.
In the mean time check the fuse for the inverter.

I did the hard reset and it came back on.  Either way, it is time to make the change and upgrade.

X2 on the Victron Multiplus.  Adding a BMV 712 with Bluetooth, I now check the status of my batteries simply by walking by.  Didn't bother to run the gauge inside.  Some vendors will even preprogram the multiplus for you, although not difficult with the mk3 dongle.

Just a note. Watched latest (Nomadic Fanatic) on Utube. He pointed out how hot his inverter was on his class A while using it to power 1 ac.  Of interest as he also pointed out high temp allowance of batteries.
