Re: RV fridge Reply #27 – May 03, 2020, 07:29:17 pm I like having a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer sensor in the refrigerator so I can monitor the temperature without opening the door. I also keep a thermometer in the freezer. My Norcold has an automatic defrost cycle to clear the inside refrigerator fins of ice and I think it does so every 43 hours. In very hot weather, that cycle will allow the refrigerator temperature to go over 45 degrees so if I see the temperature go over 42 I turn the refrigerator off for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.
