Heading out this morning and will stop for supplies at Home Depot when we get to a town that has one..
Sorry I put 2014 Nimbus but have a 2013, my jeep is 2014. I corrected this in my profile.
Factory said the bladders stay fairly extended and not to worry about rain. If it rains hard may get a little water in but just put down a couple of towels at each corner.
Hope factory can get me in end of next week so I can continue to east coast.
Thank you everyone, happy to be a part of the Foretravel club and hope to meet some of you in Kansas in October!

Just FYI, if that's an original slide bladder, you've gotten a little extra life out of it than the statistical average.  Dan observed a few years ago that they seem to have a 7-10 year life (which makes sense given that they're rubber like tires).

They are especially vulnerable if you live in the south or southwest due to sun degradation.  They dry rot pretty quickly if you fail to keep them lubed up with silicone.  You would think that that itty bitty reveal when closed would prevent any problems.  NOT. Getting more than 10 years out of them just keep smili'n.

Is silicone the preferred spray method to keep these new bladders preserved? Just had ours replaced by keith Risch and would like to see them last. Although 22 years is not to bad. Jim.

303 protectant is a good product. I'd shy away from anything with petroleum in it.
