Consider adding some top cap mirrors. Much better coverage - love ours.

Oh yes.  They're on the project spreadsheet  ;)  (I just checked - Line 22 of 207)

We did not, but did research the options.  We are upgrading the backup camera, adding side cameras and a dash cam with a quad view recording monitor.  We liked the intuitive view from the side cameras we had on the '03.  The large Zip Dee manual patio awning arms drove the location of the side cameras.

We also added mid-ship directionals, which we'd had done on the '03 and found other vehicles responded favorably to our lane changes as a result.

Are you talking about a mirror mounted above the existing side mirrors?

A U295 coach I had, had those.  I found I could not see over the mirrors and was giving me blind spots,  so I removed them.
Yep. We love ours.

Greg at Xtreme came up with a one-piece intake/rain shield for our new backup camera.  It's 1/4" steel, painted to blend in with the coach, and no visible hardware.

A custom setup from Home - Total Vision Products  (custom meaning the 7" quad view wired recording monitor we got is not on their website - it's similar to their 9" wired 4-camera offering, but 7" is a better size for us.  We're still deciding on a mount for the monitor.

The final product  ^.^d

Made a quick stop at Infinity and Mitch's team fit us in to replace the bedroom carpet (we'd brought that with us in February).

Come fall, WildE will "go to Infinity and beyond" for some interior upgrades.

It looks awesome.
I have a few questions about paint on our older units. First question is that mine is a 1999 that had a full body paint in round 2001 by foretravel I believe. Last year she started micro cracking and seems to be happening often. Can anything be done to help seal the cracking areas?
The second question, is your new paint job going to start micro cracking in the near future?
I'm asking in case I may want to do the same thing in the future.
Thanks

"What year is your coach?"

"It just rolled out of the paint booth in 2025."

 ;)

I had no idea, but Steve mentioned he asked Greg about the paint they use (Glasurit), and it's over $1000/gallon.

My recollection (which may not be all that great), is that the microcracking is actually the expansion/outgassing of the underlying fiberglass and not the paint itself.  Also, you don't want to seal the areas - they need to breathe.  In fact, we were advised not to wax the coach at all (my shoulder is happy).

Dark areas, especially large dark areas, are always going to heat up more in the sun than light areas - in some cases by 60 degrees F or more.  That's by far the main reason we went light with the paint job and that the darker portions of the design are narrow.  That and we really prefer a light exterior.  We don't anticipate issues - there are 2002/2003 coaches here at FOT that are light color paint jobs that still look as good as the day they rolled off the production line.

We have front rear and side cameras. So I have to ask, what's the difference ?  Is it more cameras?

360 cameras are a set of cameras mounted high on the sides/rear/front of the coach and use software image stitching to create a virtual top-down "view" of the coach and what's around it.  You need access inside the sidewalls to run the wiring.  I found the individual side images "odd", and that it took slightly longer for my brain to process the image, vs. the side cameras which (for me) are a familiar view somewhat like a side mirror.

Its also called a "Birds Eye" view.  If you search on that you will find many systems that give that top down view.  Several systems look the same so I feel they are essentially coming from the same MFG just branded/packaged differently.  They are typically 4 cameras but on a long coach maybe 6 cameras.  The top down view is pretty cool, but the current tech has limitations that make for some odd visual artifacts so decided to give to more time to improve, its needs some real AI processing not just adding AI in the name.
