They are all basically the same. Some you will find for sale are original new production units (Bendix or Haldex), some are rebuilt units from good cores, and some are new no-name clones produced by unknown manufactures. Some come supposedly "set" for a particular pressure range, others don't specify a range. Every one I have seen or used was adjustable, so if the pressure range out of the box is not correct you can change it.I wouldn't worry about a particular part number - just make sure it is adjustable (has the set screw and lock nut on top under the removable cover.BENDIX D-2 GOVERNOR MANUAL Pdf Download | ManualsLib Quote Selected
Re: Air dryer rebuild Reply #22 – June 03, 2025, 02:45:45 pm What Chuck said, but do make sure it comes with the plugs if you don't want to try transferring those from the old D2 to the new one. I'd ordered one from Amazon (a "Haldex Genuine Air Governor - KN18530") that was only the governor. That led me to discover our local truck service center where I purchased the needed port plugs. The guys at J&K were surprised it was sold without the plugs. Quote Selected

Re: Air dryer rebuild Reply #26 – June 04, 2025, 05:28:50 pm Switch the lines and it's working...well kinda. One gauge is reading normal, about 110. I believe it's the rear. The other read normal at first then dipped back down to 75 and after about 5 minutes still didn't shoot back up.The new governor I bought is not adjustable and is rated at 100-120 psi. When I shut the coach off, I'm hearing no obvious air leaks at all. Shot the governor and air dryer connections with soapy water and no leaks.I guess this could be the "Blue Box" issue I've read about....really don't feel like running analog gauges...sometimes get sick of working on this thing but it's the nature of the beast I suppose.
