There ya go chuck, just a few pics, I done this morning and a couple from a while back, I'm nearing the end of this project that seems to have took up 15 years of my life, I can relax a bit and have a little more time for other things, but it don't always work like that,, there is still loads of stuff I wanna do inside but nothing to do with the vehicle test, I gotta fit 2 Chinese air diesel heaters, I'm going away from the gas heaters the bedroom one packed up years ago, and the front one was new about 10 year ago, but that stopped working again, and these diesel are ever so cheap to run, you have to service them like once a year, but it doesn't take long and they give out 8kw of heat on maximum, that's one thing about them, if you run on a low setting to keep constant temperature they soot up and they need servicing more often, so when I have mine running there always on full heat, so there doesn't get the soot build up, the one I have fitted on the boat has just done 2 long cold winters, and it finally started getting g fault codes, but they do heat up a large area quickly, so having 1 in the bedroom and one up front if I can get them near to the old heaters probably remove the gas heaters completely and finding away to fit them cause I've already got the ducting in place,

The China Diesel Heaters are the ticket with a few caveats. They are exact copies of the German heaters and now that the patents have expired, the price has come way, way down. I bought my first one at $100 delivered but they are available for $50 delivered and many thousands are here in the country so no worry about tariffs. Order off of ebay, Amazon, Temu, AliExpress, etc.

For the price, they are assembled as fast as possible so hose rubbing, etc, needs to be addressed before installation so you have no problems down the road.

The low profile (pictured) all in one heater fits easily under the sofa. The external muffler has to be outside the living space as it's designed to leak condensation and exhaust gas.

Diesel water heaters are also made and only cost about $200 so you could preheat the engine, provide hot water, etc. They are also very small and only a fraction of the size of an AquaHot or propane water heater.

Lots of YouTube videos and other forum sites to explain installation, problems, tips, etc, etc.

Nice to make a test bench to get it in operation before you install it in the coach. The front sofa is not the easiest to R&R and you need to take phone photos when you remove the seat or it can be a pain to connect the four fasteners.

No 8kw heaters, just selling BS. They are either 2kw or 5kw.

The installation takes a lot of time to do it right. Cleaning compartments, floors, rat nests, etc. A lot of thing to do to make it work like factory installation. Lots of little extra parts needed to from controllers, stainless tubing, mounts, etc, etc. but all are dirt cheap. The included pump thumps every second or more and you can hear it all through the coach so you need a pump that is silent. About $15 delivered.

Soot deposits can be a problem but the controller may be programmed for altitude and operating occasionally at higher temps gets rid of the problem.

Here are photos but please, use other specialized forums or YouTube for more information as I don't have time to answer questions other than an occasional post. I bought a lot of parts and even a automotive emission O2 sensor for adjusting the air fuel ratio. It was still super cheap and fun too.

Yeah your absolutely right about them fuel pipes, they say if you ever have one with that green fuel pipe you will have leaks, so when I bought mine, I made sure I studies the pictures of what came with the heater,, the white plastic pipe is the best,, I have 4 altogether, 1 is on the boat, I've just actually changed that one out for another new one I bought , and the one I took out Is now gonna be serviced, new burner pot and glow plug, and I have another here at the villa which is the portable version, and another which has already been serviced ready to go, and the bonus to them is the amp draw maximum is 10 amps on full power, that is less than the eperspacher and the webasto, I love them and they give out a nice dry heat,
