Don yes I did, the only real place to get adheasion is around the sides, after you glue them let the coach down until they dry.

 Put them outboard to the existing bumper on the frame, because I could reach it.
They should be fine, but you need them on all the stops (8 on a Unicoach) to avoid binding any thing.

Thats what I have.

Thats some glue metat to metal.
Did u let it dry cimpressed withe the coach on it or a clamp?

After almost six years, I, for the first time yesterday. dumped the air.  This was in order to have the air dryer serviced.  I checked all the tires, and was surprised to find none were touching.  In fact, there was at least a half inch of clearance above each tire.  Is this normal on a 2003 U295?

My informant  mentions Foretravel raising the coach on the chassis in the 99 and up model year.

And it must've happened after our build number. Our coach will rest on the tires and I would rather not have that happen. He have inch of clearance would be great, but I will settle for a quarter inch...

This would be a good opportunity for someone with access to a lathe to make a little extra money.  They could use some round aluminum stock with O.D somewhat larger than the O.D of the existing frame stops, and cut off slices about 1" thick.  Then machine a recess in one side big enough for the existing frame stop + some adhesive.  This way the "add-on" stop would be supported by the main frame member and positively located by the original stop, plus it would give more surface area for the adhesive to grab.  I would be happy to pay a reasonable price for a set of 8.  Any machinists out there?

I think it happened with the 2002 models. I have an 01 and it will rest on tires too.  The 2002 was raised up two inches.

I'm not sure I want to limit the suspension travel on my '99 any more by adding METAL stops, at least in the front. I have bottomed out in the front several times, including on interstate highways where there was a rapid transition from downhill to uphill. My shocks are Koni FSDs about 5 years old. I like Don's idea of a more forgiving polyurethane bumper stop.

OK - same idea - just machine them out of polyurethane.  Probably be cheaper that way!

Our 2000  295 will bottom out on tyres if air is dumped, so change must have been after this batch.
