Re: The 34' FT's Reply #25 – August 20, 2017, 11:56:47 pm I like mine out front...check the mirror only with eye movement, no need to turn the head.Ralph96 U270 Quote Selected 1 Likes
Re: The 34' FT's Reply #26 – August 21, 2017, 04:28:30 am Mine came to me with the driver's side close. I was concerned that the large mirror blocked some of my vision, especially in left turns. I moved it up front. On the next trip, after the first day's drive, I moved it back to close. I am sure it will work either way. Probably what you get used to. Trent Quote Selected
Re: The 34' FT's Reply #27 – August 21, 2017, 02:33:11 pm When I picked mine up from the PO, it had the driver's side mirror out on the left and you had to take your eyes off the road in front of you to look at it. I drove it that way for a couple of years and finally decided to move it to the front and wouldn't go back now. It would also come dangerously close to the mirrors of 18 wheelers when being passed on the highway when it was out on the side. Quote Selected
Re: The 34' FT's Reply #28 – August 21, 2017, 03:05:23 pm There was a mention from the resnicks about the mirror forward location allowing the drivers window shade to be pulled down in some drives to block the sun Quote Selected 2 Likes

Cure was installing a plastic shield on the back side of the vertical window surround. Totally eliminated the ghosting and reflections with no reduction of sight lines but HUGE improvement of apparent contrast in the rear view. Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: The 34' FT's Reply #32 – August 25, 2017, 12:20:43 pm Randy, great great news.....been sending you email but came to Forum for photoIn that thread there is discussion of driver side mirror position.A comment. I like ours forward for reasons stated. It really only personal preference. MaybeThere was in some, maybe all, a different position of where the mirror assembly attaches to the front of the coach. Just changing arm length you may find does not compensate entirely for that structure connection point.I have tried both positions with the mirror, came to what works for us. But check the ability to move it to front or back based on the attachment position. Quote Selected
