Re: Oldest in-service Foretravel

The idea that Service issues on a 94 model year coach caused a owner to sell it on this thread got me to comment.
I walked customers off my lot who did not have a sense of humor about these things.
Told them that the coach would require service at unexpected times. For sure.
And if that was a critical thing to them and if that would ruin their day to NOT BUY A COACH.
Seriously. Easier for them and Foretravel and me to start out the ownership experience by hitting them over the head with a 2x4.
If they were still grinning after I said that we continued.
"These are not made in Japan. They are made in the USA and some parts in them are for sure bad."
Quote unquote. Exact words I used when I sold 59 new Foretravel's in 1988.
Not that the poster is one as I do not know them but have learned rv's are not for the clipboard, pipe smoking, tie wearing fiscally conservative(cheap)
IF you had been where I have been and dealt with these issues like I have you too might comment.
Somebody is not real about old rv's.
The issues with a lot of SOB'S would have him have an attack
