Oldest in-service Foretravel

I'm pretty sure that mine isn't the oldest in-service, but I'm guessing that my 1993 is older than most. Of course, it also has the newest engine.

David, We will give you the Award for the Freshest Engine;  if not oldest rig. You really earned it! Hope you keep that title for many years to come.

Hawk.
What kind of wheel blocks are those and where did you get them. Do the also work for the rear tires. We are using 2 by 6s and I'd REALY like to move on to something better.  Ummm maybe a new thread ?

I made them myself, added a wheel on each side and two smaller caster wheels on the ramp end. Then an eyebolt so I could flip the ramps over and then hook my awning rod in the eyebolt and pull the ramp into the garage or wherever. Beat trying to carry them.
The blue strip on the outside is so I can look out the driver's side window and get the center of the hub cap over the strip, thus letting me know I am fully on the ramp.
The DW and I dug out a 6'x8'x8" deep hole for concrete for the rear wheels. The ramps in front distribute the front weight and the concrete in back takes the jacks and duals. The front jack pads are merely to prevent rocking. My ramps are just right to position the coach level on our slopeing driveway.
I used a string level along with a string stuck behind the rear wheels and then I pulled it tight, leveled the string with the level, then measured from the string down to the bottom of the front tire--at the wheel centerline. That determined how high the ramps had to be. I then stood pressure treated lumber--cut to the measured height-- on edge and ran threaded rods thru to hold everything together. Paint came later after lumber had a chance to dry.

My  92 is out of service as much as in service it seems.  Recently moved it from storage near the bay when it looked like Irma was coming up the west coast of FL.  The eye actually passed us to the east sucking the water out.  While on the way to my house, the shift pad went dark but the transmission continued to shift normally.  Once in my driveway after shutting down and restarting it won't come out of neutral.  John at Transmission Instruments said to look at all the battery connections.  I did notice the screen on the monitor observing the toad go squiggly about the same time so I know something happened.  Usually I only see that if the batteries are low, which isn't the case.  Brett gave me some things to check but in the end I decided to send the pad and ECU off to John.  I hope he finds something or it's back to the drawing board.  Also, while sitting in my driveway one of the jack springs broke and so I have to fix that too, which ought to be fun.  I think after I get this squared away I need to find a new home for the old girl.  A twenty five year old coach, even a Foretravel, needs someone handy who has more time let her run.
UPDATE: $700 later the ECU Power supply and EE-Prom is fixed and shifts normally now.

Part II of my hurricane saga: in addition to one leaking HWH jack and a broken spring on another, I took the coach back to my plug-in storage space and after turning on the power I noticed the Surge Protector had no delay in allowing the power to flow then I heard a bunch of noise coming from the Automatic Transfer Switch.  Now the contacts must be fused because the 110 works ok but it won't switch to generator when I turn off the power and start the generator.  More to fix.  I think I've had it.  Time to sell.
