Maybe Mike's era coach has more miter joints,  the only ones in our coach are the corners of the trim around the mirrors on the closet doors and they are well done. I would have liked to see the production shop when my coach was built.  All of the woodwork that had to be done when they were building about one coach per day is an impressive quantity.

All of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts on our coach are either Cope and Stick joints or solid wood.

There are a lot of them in the '93, plus cope joints. All of them, to this day, have shown NO sign of pulling apart or shifting. Like you, Roger, I would have loved to have seen what kind of shop they had and meet the craftsmen who created such a example of woodworker's art!  ^.^d

We did the factory tour back in late 2000 and impressed does not do the craftsmanship justice!  Went from the frame to the finished product and everything in-between.  Just another reason why we purchased our '98 at the time!

Footnote;  still waiting on call back from factory on wood selection in our coach.  James is out of town until Wednesday, so had a call into David Flanagan.

One thing I did find on the color brochure in  our book is this:  04-Glaxay  Not sure if the 04 is the wood.  Maybe someone else on here would know.  Of course it also had the interior listed as blue and this coach is not blue inside on trim, etc.

Well, got the call from the mothership and David Flanagan pulled the build number on this coach and it is confirmed, WALNUT!  Like he said as well as others on here, walnut lightens with age and the sun UV's.  Thank you to all who chimed in with their thoughts and advice!
